The VideoPoster is a translucent Reversa screen suspended on thin steel cable, held in place by brushed steel weights for stability. From a distance, the image seems to be suspended in mid-air, focusing attention on the content rather than the screen. The image comes from an ordinary projector placed behind the screen. By using keystone correction, the projector can be suspended from the ceiling. The optical properties of the screen allow 81% degree of transmission and a 160° viewing angle. This means that the image can be enjoyed by groups of people at a time. The projector can display images from video recorders, DVD players, satellite receivers, or presentations and video from a PC. In fact, just about any source imaginable can be used. |
